Short film presented at Fabra i Coats and CCCB – 2024, 2025
“I Have a Problem, I Hear the Noise” is an artistic installation aimed at raising awareness about noise pollution in urban environments. The project includes an experimental documentary short film about the Les Fontetes neighborhood in Cerdanyola del Vallès, a clear example of this issue.
Flamenco dance serves as a kind of standard for measuring noise; the sound of the dance represents a private, intimate sound and contrasts with the aggressive sound environment that negatively affects the daily lives of both people and animals. This short film shows how noise kills us every day and becomes the background of our lives.
